DC Entertainment is looking for a young Asian actor to portray Beast Boy in their upcoming Teen Titans live-action TV series.
The TV series (called Titans) will be based off the DC Comics Teen Titans series of comics, and as it has it, they’re looking for a 13-15-year-old Asian male to take on the role of Beast Boy. The casting call actually names the character Jax, older descriptions identifies the role as our green shape-changing friend.
The casting call ends today (and is essentially inaccessible to us Malaysians anyway) but you can see the full details here if you’re curious.
Whatever the case, I hope the new Titans series has just as catchy an intro as the cartoon.
