This is the final trailer of Mad Max: Fury Road, and it’s by far the most explosive. First, take a look at the first main trailer above.
It highlights Tom Hardy (Rover, The Dark Knight Rises), Charlize Theron (Monster, Prometheus) and the insane looking, warmongering desert gang that is in hot pursuit of the said two. Warner Bros is hoping this movie will be a runaway success so it can be opted into a trilogy, the main actor himself already admitted that he signed up for at least three Mad Max flicks.
Official synopsis:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
Will this reboot do justice to the iconic 80’s version starring Mel Gibson? We shall find out soon enough when it hits international release on 15 May 2015.
