The September issues of Tokuma Shoten’s Animage and Gakken Publishing’s Animedia magazine have revealed the main cast and the staff that will be heading the television anime adaptation of Sega’s Phantasy Star Online 2 online roleplaying game.
The Staffers revealed are Keiichiro Kawaguchi, who had previously work on series such as Hayate The Combat Butler, Psychic Squad, and Sket Dance, will be directing the anime at Telecom Animation Film. Mitsutaka Hirota, who worked on Persona 4 The Animation, will be writing the script and lastly Minoko Takasu, who was the key animator for Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood will be designing the characters.
The main cast revealed are Shouta Aoi, who was Daiki Tomii in Shōnen Hollywood – Holly Stage for 49, Ayaka Suwa, who was Tōka Yada in Assassination Classroom, and M.O.A who was Yūri from School-Live!.
Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation is set to debut in 2016.
