Looks like the rumours that Donnie Yen will be in Star Wars comes true with the release of official image of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Regardless, Disney also announced Alan Tudyk (Firefly) as new member in a performance capture role and Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal series) in on board for an unspecified role. So now we have Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Jiang Wen and Felicity Jones to star in Gareth Edwards (Monster, Godzilla) directed flick. Scriptwriter of Cinderella, Chris Weltz will be penning this movie, while music composer Alexandre Desplat (Godzilla) doing the score and cinematographer of Zero Dark Thirty, Greig Fraser tries to be bring out the realistic nature of the conflict in Star Wars universe.

On first glance, we already can feel the grim and gritty nature of the movie, the soldiers/fighters looks like a ragtag bunch of guerrillas who are low on supplies and other necessary things you need to well, survive. Obviously being in the resistance against the Empire, these people has to be constantly on the run.

The movie has already begun shooting for the release late next year with this latest set photos taken illegally at the film set via drone camera. The fight for Death Star plan will begin at the cinemas on 16 December 2016.
