Cosplay competition

It isn’t quite a convention without a cosplay competition, and this year’s prizes are pretty darn amazing. The first prize is even a camera!

AniManGaki Idol

AniManGaki Idol is back for another year, inviting the talented from across the country and beyond to show off their skills. This year’s competition is apparently a lot tougher than last year’s so good luck to all those taking part!

Off stage events

AniManGaki is chock full of off-stage events as well, taking place both inside and outside the hall area, as well as upstairs.

First there’s the AniManGaki Allstar’s Arena, which features three game tournaments to take place over the convention. Competitors will be duking it out on Tekken 7 (PS4), Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator (PS4) and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PS4).

For those who are more into the artsy side of things, there is the Art Competition (Element Showdown) that took place some time ago but will be displayed at the event! You can check out all the winners here, along with their artwork!

If you’re going to AMG for your yearly dose of bullet hell, AniManGaki’s Tohou Matsuri will be happening this year as well. Hit the link for details!

Don’t forget to pay Elemental Bytes Maid Cafe a visit too, as you’ll be able to enjoy a Fantasy RPG themed cafe and be serviced by butlers AND maids. Courtesy of Bytes and Pixels, Magic Rain, and Her Majesty’s Mansion!
