Bethesda recently let loose some official footage of their Doom reboot and not too long after that the internet got a taste of leaked footage and cinematics from Doom 4 courtesy of the Doomworld Forums, which was the cancelled version of the same game that didn’t quite make the cut.
The clip shows Earth’s military pushing back the forces of Hell, which following the original plot from the first Doom where experiments on the moons of Mars made a portal letting demons flood our dimension. Doom 4 was originally set to be debut in 2008 but didn’t make it, says Bethesda.
The updated version of the Doom reboot is set to be showcased at E3 this year. Expect hellprinces and fireball spouting imps aplenty.
