Tetsuya Nomura, the flamboyant and verbose Square Enix character designer for the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series is showing what his interpretation of the world’s most famous virtual idol, Hatsune Miku might look like.
Nomura’s Miku was recently shown at “Universal Positivity,” a Hatsune Miku themed art exhibition in New York, which featured original illustrations by her creator and other well-known artists. She also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, a testament on how popular she is.
Is this uncanny valley? Maybe.
