Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is well on its way and we mostly know the story as it is, but a new bit of info has surfaced about the upcoming movie.
So far we know that the movie involves a team of rebels who steal the plans of the Death Star; making it a prequel to the original Star Wars film. The cast comprises of Felicity Jones, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendohlson, Mads Mikkelsen, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and Alan Tudyk, alongside an appearance by Darth Vader.
The extra tidbit of info basically pertains to the black uniformed Stormtroopers that are being called “Death Troopers”, but we’re not sure if that’s just a nickname for them or their actual designation.
Also, one of the movie’s main characters is going to be a droid (we’re not surprised somehow) that’s been described as being dark grey or black, two legged and having formerly belonged to the Empire before it was re-purposed. This makes it sound a lot like it could be something like C3PO or HK-47 from Knights of the Old Republic.
Finally, one of the character’s names has been revealed to be Cashen (spelling changes notwithstanding) and Felicity Jones’ character might be Lyra Erso, potentially the daughter of Mads Mikkelson’s character Galen, the engineer who fixes some of the flaws of the Death Star.
Sounds like Rogue One is going to be a pretty fleshy story. But what do you think? let us know in the comments!
