Demon Slayer Fan Art Contest

Despite Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ending its manga run, it still maintains a high level of popularity thanks to the anime continuing its run. With popularity comes a huge number of fans and of course a treasure trove of fan arts from them. ART Street, the anime fan art social media platform of MediBang is giving a chance to all Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans to not only showcase their awesome work, but also win up to 100,000 yen of cash prizes in their 3rd JUMP’s Universal Illustration Contest.

The contest which was launched back in May 26, is the third art contest that MediBang has organised together with Shueisha, the publishers of Shonen Jump, where Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ran since its start in 2016. With the ending of the popular manga, this seems like a fitting send-off and treat for fans of mangaka Koyoharu Gotōge’s work.

If you’re curious about the prizes, here’s what you stand to win if you take part in the contest.

  1. Special prize(1 Maximum): 100,000 yen (about USD950) + original fabric watch + original mini acrylic badge
    2. Selected winners(3 Maximum): 10,000 yen (about USD95) + original rectangular acrylic badge + original mini acrylic badge

On top of that, out of all the participants, 30 people will be chosen by lottery to receive an original mini acrylic badge as a gift.

So far since the contest launch, over 5,000 participants have submitted their entries and MediBang expects more to enter. With the deadline for the contest set to end on 31st August 2020, 1700 hours Japan time, there’s still over a month to join the contest. So what are you waiting for? Join now.
