When the Attack on Titan anime first season ended, it wasn’t until three and a half years later that we finally managed to get season two. With the second season having ended this year, the question was, would we have to wait equally long for season 3? Fortunately, we won’t have to as it’s now been confirmed that the third season of the anime will be coming in 2018.
The announcement for the third season of Attack on Titan was announced by the producers and that’s not the only thing they unveiled as the visual art for the new season was also unveiled, featuring the ever-popular side-character Levi.

Attack on Titan season three will be part of Japan’s summer release of anime so we can expect the anime to be released sometime during June 2018. Once more, Tetsuro Araki and Masashi Koizuka will return as chief director and director respectively, while the animation will once again be handled by WIT Studio.
And if you can’t be bothered to catch up with the entirety of season two of the anime, a compilation movie of the season will also be released on January 13, 2018, and will be called Attack on Titan Season 2-Roar of Awakening.
Thank goodness it isn’t going to be another three-year wait for the next Attack on Titan season. Hopefully, this continues on until we can finally see the end of the saga.
