If you didn’t manage to snag yourself the Pip-Boy edition of Fallout 4 don’t fret, for you can now download your very own on your mobile!
Bethesda has made available the app on Android and iOS available today, with their Fallout CHAT app also hitting both mobile platforms within days of each other. There’s also apparently going to be a version for Windows Phone but it hasn’t gone live yet. The app is free across all three platforms, but will work even better if you have a copy of Fallout 4.
The interface is more than just a mobile menu reskinning (those have been around for awhile already as it is) but you can sync it with your Fallout 4 game to play any holotape games you might find in the wasteland. So its quite literally more than just a fancy theme for your phone.
This is just one more thing to tide you over before Fallout 4 finally hits, and if you haven’t already tried Fallout Shelter, this should keep you occupied for quite a bit. Or at least till the coolness of having a Pip-Boy on your phone wears off anyway.
Fallout 4 launches 10 November (aka next week) on the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
So will you download the app? let us know below.
