Activision is apparently making a Ghostbusters game

Activision is apparently working on a new Ghostbusters video game and we’re not sure if its going to be a movie-tie in.

Alongside the launch of the movie will be coming a brand new game from Activision. The game is expected to come to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and appear around the same time as the film, which will be rolling around 15 July this year.

So far, there hasn’t been any indication on whether or not the game will be about the new batch of Ghostbusters as portrayed by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCathy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones or the original Ghostbusters we’re all familiar with.

The last full-fledged Ghostbusters game was released by Atari in 2009, titled Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and starred Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson.

There aren’t any more details out on the game yet, but it would be interesting if they manage to craft it based on the upcoming movie and have it a hit.
