World famous fighting game Street Fighter V has finally launched for the PlayStation 4 in Malaysia! Check it out here.
In a launch event concurrent with the Japanese launch of Street Fighter V, Malaysian fans could finally get ahold of the game in a midnight launch; courtesy of PLAY Interactive Sdn Bhd, Capcom and Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong.
For those in attendance, they not only got to test out the game first hand, but also pick up their copies of Street Fighter V during the midnight launch!
Various sponsors and partners were at the event as well, with Gamers Hideout, Gamehubs, TM, MDec, Mad Catz, Steamline Studios and Bigboystoys HK all coming together to show off their gear.
“We love opportunities to give back to our end-users, which are the local gamers. Our team at Play Interactive organised the Street Fighter V Malaysia Launch Party to create a space for gamers to gather and enjoy all the Street Fighter activities and the wonderful prizes we’ve arranged for them. It’s our way of saying Thank You to the gaming community,” said Gary Chong, CEO of PLAY Interactive.
To sum it up, the launch party consisted of a Street Fighter V tourney, lucky draw, Street Fighter cosplay appearances as well as as demo matches for those not joining the competition that night.
