The latest Lego review results are in and there is a chance that the next set will be Adventure Time.
For those not in the know, Adventure Time is the story of “a boy and his dog, where the boy happens to be the last human and the dog is magical”. The series currently on its 7th season and still going strong.
Every year Lego picks new sets via the Lego Ideas blog, where they get input on the kind of sets people would want to see made by the brand. This year one of the picks was this Adventure Time set by aBetterMonkey. This pretty much means Lego would like to make the set, but they would still have a lot of licensing hoops to jump thru so it may be a long while till its official.
So, the set could still happen but it may not look anything like the original pitch and may or may not feature the same characters. The main goers like Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum and the Ice King probably would make it in at the very minimum, but its way too early to say.
