The final Anime Matsuri event runs 6th to 12th June at Singapore’s Funan DigitaLife Mall with free attendance.
Singapore’s largest cosplay event returns for its fourth and final year – Funan Anime Matsuri will feature 10 cosplay celebrities showing off their skills, including Saffron, Ely and SeeU – who will hold cosplay workshops and be available to meet the fans as well as perform in a runway show on the 11th.
Funan Anime Matsuri will feature two escape rooms, performances and meet-and-greets by Japanese music and modeling luminaries AKIRA and Takeru, with additional performances by Luna Haruna and sasakure.UK.
The first escape room is themed after the anime series Assassination Classroom – tickets are limited and can be prepurchased here. The second is a series of horror-themed mini escapes called Six Exits – a horror house project from Tokyo with tickets available at the door and for online purchase, with details to be revealed by the organisers at a later date.
Funan Anime Matsuri will also play host to film screenings, card game tournaments, an artist’s bazaar, and various anime merchandise and collectibles.
