Premium Bandai recently announced that they’ve opened pre-orders for their brand new Evangelion x Godzilla crossover figurines featuring none-other than Mechagodzilla in the iconic colouration of Eva Unit 01 and 02.
The figures come in two flavours, and are 320mm-tall version of the Type 3 Kiryu from the Mechagodzilla films. The collaboration literally came about cause Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno is now working as the supervising director and screenplay writer for the upcoming Shin Godzilla/Godzilla Resurgence films.
First up is the Godzilla vs Evangelion Toho 30cm series Godzilla Type 3 Kiryu Heavy Arms 2002 Edition: Eva-01 Colour, retails for 29,160 yen (about RM 1113) and is set to be released December this year.
The second variant is the Godzilla vs Evangelion Toho 30cm series Godzilla Type 3 Kiryu Heavy Arms 2002 Edition: Eva-02 Colour, will retail for the same price but will launch a month earlier in November.
