CBS Studio’s new Star Trek series will officially be available internationally in 188 countries on Netflix.
Netflix also announced that all 727 episodes of Star Trek’s television library will be available worldwide on Netflix before the end of 2016; and this includes Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
As for the new series that’s coming up, it begins production this September in Toronto. There isn’t much information about it just yet, besides the fact that it will be the seventh series set in Gene Roddenberry’s universe and that it would be the first Star Trek series on TV in a decade.
No word on the setting yet though, your guess is as good as ours at this point.
