If you’ve ever wished there was a convention out there that focused almost entirely on the craft of cosplay, CRE.aRT is right up your alley. This one day event is all about the making of props and costumes; complete with guest speakers and workshops.
Conceived by costume and prop makers Helios-E and ShiroppiDIY, CRE.aRT expo is meant to be a new experience for even those who are veterans in the Anime Comic Games (ACG) scene.
This would also be the first major event specifically for the propmaking scene.
On top of various panels, there will also be workshops where visitors can get some hands-on experience. Apart from the cosplay competition, there will also be the first ever Cosplay Prop Design Exhibition Competition, where the props will be looked at by an experienced panel of judges who are experts in their respective fields of crafting.
The event will take place at the Grand Pacific Event Hall at Evolve Concept Mall Ara Damansara on 20 November 2016, from 11 am to 8pm. Tickets start at RM 15 and if you’re interested in registering any of your props for display, you can do so here.
