Keita Takahashi, best known for his hit Katamari series, has just launched a new AR game called Woorld, which is all colour and charm.

How the game works is that it will map your room and then place cartoonish items around your space in AR. The objects can range from sprouts to toilet seats randomly popping up, and you can interact with everything. The game was developed by Funomena, with Takahashi at the helm as its creative director.

The game doesn’t seem to have an obvious goal, but you will unlock the sandbox mode when you do. However, there are item quests that will build off each other, like if you bloomed a flower there might be an item inside that will help you do something else.

Woorld is already available on the Google Play Store but can only be played on the Lenovo Phab2Pro at the moment because it’s the only device currently enabled with Tango, a set of sensors and software that makes AR on your phone possible.
