With the reveal of their launch trailer, we now know that Far Cry 5 is not only arriving early next year but will also allow you to play the entire game campaign in co-op.

Two players will be able to tackle the game’s full story in online co-op, though it hasn’t yet been revealed if you will be playing as the same character. As it is, Far Cry 5 allows you to choose your character’s skin tone and gender though we’re still unsure if you’ll get the full character creation experience.

The new game also heralds the return of the Far Cry series map editor, which was removed from Far Cry Primal but was present in Far Cry 2, 3 and 4.

Also, the game will be available in multiple editions, which start from RM219 for the vanilla edition. You can see the rest of the available PC versions here on Steam. Far Cry 5 will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on top of PC, with some additional free content available at launch.

Far Cry 5 drops 27 February 2018.
