The sequel to Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla and the third instalment in the Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures MonsterVerse (Kong: Skull Island being the other one), has just started filming. And, Warner Bros and Legendary have just revealed the cast and the synopsis of the movie.
According to CBR, the synopsis of Godzilla: King of Monsters is as follows:
The heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of God-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of Monsters will star Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Stranger Things’ Millie Bobbie Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi.
Godzilla: King of Monsters will hit theatres in March 2019.
