Mob Psycho 100 is getting the live-action TV adaptation treatment from Netflix and it will be premiering in just a few months.

The show will be produced by TV Tokyo in collaboration with Netflix, and it is set to air starting January 2018 in Japan. It will air on TV Tokyo’s “MokuDora 25” time slot, which runs 1:00 – 1:30 am on Fridays.

Tatsuomi Hamada will be playing the main character, Mob. Other cast doesn’t seem to have been revealed yet but Koichi Sakamoto is directing the show with Fuminori Kobayashi as producer.

If you’re not familiar with the story, Mob Psycho 100 follows Mob, an 8th grader who possesses powerful psychic powers that he uses to exorcise evil spirits.

The franchise is based on ONE’s webcomic of the same name, and it has also inspired an anime from Studio Bones.
