Celebrating the launch of two long awaited 3DS titles locally, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and the Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D local game store Kyo’s Game Mart had a small scale launch in Tropicana City Mall last weekend.
The event, titled ‘Kyo’s Tavern: The Hunt for Link’ saw not just gamers purchasing the two aforementioned titles but also coming in droves to game and collect Street Passes throughout the day. Apart from the sales of games and Nintendo related consoles, the event also saw a Super Smash Bros mini game tournament which is a common event for most of Kyo’s game launches, as well as costumed appearances by fans and Kyo himself.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a long awaited new addition to the immensely popular open world hunting game (that’s known for being ridiculously difficult with hard bosses) while Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is a remastered version of the original game that was on the Nintendo 64.
Also available for purchase that day was the Monster Hunter limited edition 3DS that comes preloaded with the game and a special case art as well as limited quantities of limited edition Monster Hunter 4 battery packs (because hey, you never play Monster Hunter in short bursts) , and was retailing for RM 950 at launch, alongside other limited edition 3DS bundles available that day.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate retails for RM 135 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D retails for RM 139. Both games can also be ordered directly from Kyo’s Game Mart.
Stay tuned for more as Kyo’s Game Mart holds events pretty often!
