A few days ago, Capcom-Unity blog mentioned in a rather blasé manner that Street Fighter V will be hitting the streets in spring 2016 while talking about a few Street Fighter themed t-shirts. Undoubtedly, this caused much excitement amongst the fans which til that day have had no clue on when the fifth iteration will come.

The post was listing all the Capcom’s merchandise for PAX East 2015 at Boston then suddenly, “Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter V coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring,”  popped out in the listing. As usual, when Capcom is contacted about this, they downplayed it with this statement: “What was listed was just a tentative release time and no official announcements have been made.

So far what we have is that the game is definitely in the making, with gameplay tests between professional Street Fighter players already posted, Capcom will run an online beta for the game soon and the return of one of the older characters, Charlie Nash who sports a new look and fighting style.

Guess the fans have 1 year to practice before the new chapter arrives. So what do you think of this, comment below and let us know.
