Finally, Walt Disney Pictures unveils the long trailer for Tomorrowland starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson with director’s chair entrusted to Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant). The director c0-wrote and is producing the movie with Damon Lindelof ( World War Z, Star Trek Into Darkness) while music is scored by Micheal Giacchino (Jupiter Ascending, Star Trek Into Darkness)
What we can see from the trailer so far is that George Clooney is a scientist who invites a confused teenager on a journey to a futuristic world since that teenager might hold a key to save the planet. Additionally, the movie’s idea is based on a ride at Disney World. The trailer shows an alternative world that is run with the steampunk technology married to clean, Apple-like smooth feel sheen.
The project began in 2011 with Damon Lidelof signing up first with Brad Bird then joining the crew around early 2012, principal shooting started around August 2013 and finished in 15 January 2014. Then additional shooting took place in February 2014 at Disneyland, California. Disney initially cloaked this project under the name Project 1952 until it is retitled later.
The movie is scheduled for opening on 22 May 2015.
