If you’ve ever wanted to be a DC superhero here’s your chance.
Penang is playing host to Malaysia’s first ever DC Justice League Run on 30 August 2015 where you will get to run in superhero T-shirts, capes and masks. Runners can choose between five different superheroes; Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonderwoman and The Flash.
The themed run will have two categories, the 3km and the 8km distances and participation is RM 100 per head, with each participant entitled to the aforementioned t-shirt, mask or cape plus a medal and participation certificate.
The event will flag off at 6am at the Esplanade and is expected to end at noon. Participants can collect their running kits at St Jo’s Gurney Paragon between 27 and 29 August. In conjunction with the run there will also be a DC Super Heroes Weekend at Gurney Paragon from 27 – 31 August for fans who want to get their Justice League fix.
