The coming of a major Star Wars movie end of this year has everyone scrambling to tap into the potential profits, and Sony is no exception.
The Japanese manufacturer just announced the limited edition Darth Vader themed PS4 on to come on 17 November this year, with bundles games like Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Edition or Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition during the D23 expo at Anaheim recently.
The Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition bundle includes a special 500 gigabyte limited edition PlayStation 4 console and a DualShock 4 controller with Darth Vader themes. The hardware features an image of Darth Vader, as well as repeated Star Wars logo across the top of the system. Not only that, the same logos are featured on the touchpad of the DualShock 4 controller. It also includes a digital voucher to download four Star Wars titles, playable on PlayStation 4 with enhanced graphics and Trophy features. They are: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 bundle will be a Wal-Mart exclusive in North America only. It includes the Star Wars Battlefront bundle, but replaces Battlefront with the Disney Infinity 3.0 Deluxe Edition, as well as the “Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack” and PlayStation-exclusive Bobba Fett figure. Finally, the standard edition Star Wars Battlefront PlayStation 4 package includes the standard PlayStation 4, a copy of Star Wars Battlefront, and the four classic Star Wars games mentioned above.
