The cast of CW’s Archie comics re-imagining Riverdale have come out in a bunch of new character portrait shots for the upcoming series.
The photo set covers each main character, along with some of the supporting ones in their own individual portraits. These include Archie Andrews and his father Fred, Betty Cooper and her mom Alice, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller, Cheryl Blossom and Josie from Josie and the Pussycats.

Riverdale basically takes the iconic characters from the Archie Comics franchise and puts them into a surreal “Twin Peaks” like setting which will arguably be a lot less kid-friendly than the Archie we know and love. The show is also executive produced by Greg Berlanti, who is behind shows like CW’s The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The series stars K.J Apa as Archie Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper and Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, with Molly Ringwald as Archie’s mother Mary, among others.
Riverdale drops 26 January on The CW.
