Do you fancy having a smartphone that bears the marquee of one of the most famous supercars ever known? Wait, a supercar brand?
Yes, Lamborghini zooms ahead with the luxurious, limited edition 88 Tauri. It will cost any aspiring buyer about US$6000 (RM 20,100) and only 1,947 units will be produced.
The model is made with a mix of high quality material and design motif that is closely resembles the philosophy of the carmaker – loud and stylish. A blend of premium steel in black, gold and natural colours with leather in black, blue, red, orange and brown as optional colours. Specs wise, it is not too shabby, as it’s touting a 5-inch Full HD screen, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm 801 CPU, 3GB RAM and expandable 64GB of storage. A 20MP rear camera with sensor and 8MP front comes with the 88 Tauri. The makers claim that its 3,200mAh battery has a talk time of 35 hours or 1000 hours on standby.
The expensive, luxurious phone will be available in the market in late December. Speculations as to why the exact production number of 1,947 is because it is the year of birth of Lamborghini’s founder, Tonino Lamborghini.
