“I like to keep this for close encounters”
Remember that line from Aliens (1986)? It is said by Corporal Hicks played by Micheal Biehn. Well, apparently, he is back in the Neill Blomkamp’s yet untitled Alien sequel.
Posting on Instagram when he responded to a comment regarding his scheduled appearance at convention in UK, he stated this : “I’m not looking at scheduling conflicts with the Sheffield Comic Con, due to my contract for Aliens to begin filming during then.”
In the original art concept for Alien by the director of Elysium and Chappie, the Colonial Marines Corporal Hicks was featured so it is not surprising when Fox give a go ahead to the director, Micheal Biehn is back in the franchise again. Another notable comeback as noted in the last report, Sigourney Weaver is back as Ripley.
One thing for sure, the nostalgia glow is getting strong with this upcoming sequel to Alien. All we can hope is it will be given a proper send off and forever erase the bad taste in the mouth from the other Alien movies after the James Cameron’s version.
