Award winning manga series Boku dake ga Inai Machi / 僕だけがいない街 or The Town Where Only I am Missing by Kei Sanbe will be adapted into an anime series for Noitamina TV anime come 2016.

The new preview introduces Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist) as the character designer. The director has been confirmed to be Tomohiko Itou (Gin no Saji) and the scribe will be Kishimoto Taku (Gin no Saji) while production will be by A-1 Pictures (Fate/Zero, Aldnoah Zero). However still no news on who will be voicing the characters in the anime series.

It began serialization in the Young Ace seinen magazine since June 2012 with six volumes out so far. The manga was a finalist in the Manga Taisho Award 2015, earning fourth place. In 2014, the manga was also a finalist for same award, very close to clinching the title as the runner-up. The manga was featured in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2015 rankings, earned a 9th place in the category of Male Readers.

Struggling manga author Satoru Fujinuma is beset by his fear to express himself. However, he has a supernatural ability of being forced to prevent deaths and catastrophes by being sent back in time before the incident occurred, repeating time until the accident is prevented. One day, he gets involved in an accident that has him framed as a murderer. Desperate to save the victim, he sends himself back in time only to find himself as a grade-schooler one month before fellow classmate Kayo Hinadzuki went missing. Satoru now embarks on a new quest: to save Kayo and solve the mystery behind her disappearance.”
