The first promo image has dropped for the upcoming Samurai Jack revival, and Jack is channeling some serious Kratos vibe there.
The show is set to make its debut later this year on Adult Swim, and is being spearheaded by Genndy Tartakovsky. Fans have been wanting the series to make a comeback for the longest time, and now that its finally happening, we can barely contain ourselves.
The series originally was aired in the early 2000s on Cartoon Network; and follows the titular samurai as he battles against the demon Aku in a bid to return to the past.
Its also interesting to note that Jack is covered in blood and he seems quite unkempt. Not elements we saw very commonly in the original incarnation of the show but we’re hanging tight for this darker and most likely grittier version of Samurai Jack.
