Fandom inspired rings are becoming pretty common and lets face it, they’re just pretty darn impressive. Now a jeweler from Japan has made it possible to carry a touch of the Force on your fingertips.
The designs were thought up by Takayas Mizuno, a fourth-generation ikebana artist who enjoys creating unusual designs for customers. These are just some of many interesting designs Takayas has created from original pieces to fandom items.
These matching sets of Lightsaber inspired rings are nothing short of gorgeous, with tiny details and a beautiful assortment of Swarovski zirconias. Takayas has produced various fandom inspired jewelry before, with pieces from Dr.Who and Hunger Games in their collection.
Any Star Wars fan would know that the lightsaber’s colour is related to the Jedi themselves, their connection to the force and subsequently the lightsaber crystal powering it. The silver rings are available in three sets of designs, all of which can be inlaid with either red, green or purple gems.
The Purple Hurrikaine Ring features the violet hurrikaine crystal, and can be wielded only by those who have mastered the Force (read: Mace Windu)
The Green Synth Ring on the other hand gets its hue from a synth-crystal, as opposed to the naturally occurring crystals favoured by the Jedi and found in Ilum’s frozen Crystal Caves.
This Red Dark Side Ring has the Sith’s signature red colour and while beautiful, is a reminder of how deadly its wielders can be.
The rings are only available via custom order from their site and the price is quoted directly on the ring’s parameters but Takayas is keen on accommodating requests so if you’d prefer other saber hues, they’re more than happy to forge you one!
