Fist of the North Star
Oh boy, where do we start with this? Fist of the North Star is an epic (albeit gory) story set in a post-apocalyptic following a nuclear war, and had some pretty over the top violence. However, when it came to be made into a live-action movie, it pretty much fell flat also due to deviating too much from the source material. It was a relatively low budget production and actor Gary Daniels wasn’t really the Kenshiro we truly hoped for. Maybe this show is ripe for a “modern reboot” ?
