Bandai Namco has released a television commercial for Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force for the PlayStation Vita and basically reveals the game’s release date.
On top of the already familiar 2 vs. 2 gameplay in previous games, the new game lets players build their own unit from six mobile suits. These includes three MS units and warships with up to seven suits in a battle, a first for the franchise. As usual, players can battle via the Vita’s ad-hoc multiplayer.
There will be an appearance by the Gundam Barbatos (form 4) from the new Mobile Suit Gundam : Iron-Blooded Orphans, in the shape of a limited time DLC included with the game. Buyers of the anime’s Blu-ray set will also get a download code for Gundam Barbatos (form 1) when the set becomes available on 24 December.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force will get its Asian release in English this winter season.
