Razer‘s revealed their latest Blade machine, and not only is it slim as ever, it cools itself with vapour.
To sum it up, most of Razer’s Blade gaming laptops have been monsters in terms of specs, and this one isn’t any different.
Its able to even handle VR, and that should give you an inkling about just how powerful it is. In terms of specs, it’s home to a 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 that overclocks to 3.5GHz, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU and a 17.3 inch IZGO touchscreen at 4K resolution.
It’s also got three USB 3.0 ports, a Thunderbolt/USB-C jack as well as a card reader. You have multiple options of storage space and the Blade Pro of course features Razer Chroma backlighting.
The best part? its got a custom designed vapor-chamber for keeping the entire ensemble cool, making it the thinnest laptop to have the feature. How it works is that when the coolant fluid reaches boiling point, it vaporises and then gets vented out by the laptop’s exhaust system.
Last but not least, it has a unique trackpad that also has a scrollwheel on top, next to an ultra-low profile mechanical keyboard. Sweet.
The Razer Blade Pro will set you back a fancy $3,700 (about RM15473) for the 512GB SSD option so the higher end storage options will probably cost you an additional limb.
