The latest cast member to join the as-of-yet unnamed Han Solo anthology film is Woody Harrelson, who is finally on board after rumours of his involvement were floating about the ‘net.

Harrelson joins Alden Ehrenreich who plays Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke. They haven’t yet revealed what he is cast as but we’ll know soon enough.

The Han Solo anthology is written by Lawrence Kasdan and is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie).

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody,” said Lord and Miller in a statement. “His ability to find both humor and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”

The Han Solo movie will premiere sometime in 2018, following the December release schedule of the other Star Wars films.
