Marvel may have a headstart over their Distinguished Competition, but ironically, they have also made it easier for DC to jump on the bandwagon.

Having painstakingly laid the groundwork for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) over the past six years, building their shared universe, Marvel have proved that such a major undertaking could be done.

Thanks to them, cinemagoers are a lot more accepting of a shared cinematic universe between several films; and DC should be thanking Marvel for doing all the hard work for them and making it possible to build their own DC cinematic universe.
