After the earth shattering deal (much awaited by fans) between Sony and Marvel to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Disney will reschedule the release dates for four of its already planned Marvel movies.
The new Spider-Man movie will replace Thor: Ragnarok’s release date of 28 July 2017.
Thor: Ragnarok has been slotted to 3 November 2017 which was the day Black Panther was coming out originally.
Black Panther will be in the cinemas on 6 July 2018 replacing Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel takes the place of Inhumans on 2 November 2018 and Inhumans opens on 12 July 2019, perhaps slotting it as the first film of Phase Four as Avengers Infinity War Parts 1 and 2 remain at the same announced date.
Spider-Man grabs the 28 July 2017 date which means Spider-Man will be swinging into Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2.
At the same time, Sony halts the release of Spider-Man villain movie “The Sinister Six” which originally planned for November 2016 due to this arrangement with Marvel. Sources said that Sony might rethink of the direction of the franchise right now.
