Toho Animation and SEGA announced a new project “Chaos Dragon“/ケイオスドラゴン which will be coming out at multiple media formats, from anime series which is scheduled for summer 2015, a story-telling boardgame and a smartphone game app at the same time. The story is novelised on seven volumes of Red Dragon novel series illustrated by Doriru Shima under publication of Seikaisha. Many fans of anime scene in Japan were surprised with the announcement.
The genesis of the story is rather unusual, it is from sessions of table-talk RPG by some of Japan’s greatest anime creators, names like Gen Urobochi (Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Madoka), Kinoko Nasu (Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime), Izuki Kougyoku (Garden Lost), Doriru Shima and Ryogo Narita (Durarara!!).
The synopsis is about a small country called Nil Kamui in year 3105, facing a massive crisis when its guardian red dragon started running amok.
