The upcoming chapter of famous Metal Gear Solid, MGS V: The Phantom Pain is scheduled for release for worldwide on 1 September 2015 whereas in Japan, it is one day after. The game will be released on PS3, PS4,Xbox One, Xbox 360 first then for PC on 15 September 2015 (world), 16 September 2015 (Japan only).

The game’s plot is set in 1984 when Big Boss was just Venom Snake, the game chronology sets this one between Ground Zeroes (1975) and Metal Gear (1995). What is notable about this game is that Konami incorporated weather effects and a vast open world which gives new dimension to stealth playing requirement.

Konami Japan is offering a special PS4 edition, coloured in crimson red with the game logo on it together with the game. No announcement of the price for this one yet.

Besides this, Konami Japan also will release the Special Edition for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One only for Japan which includes the game itself, art book, weapon DLC, costume download code and a documentary on the making of the game. This edition is priced at 9980 Yen (US$83).

They also will be preparing a Premium Edition specifically for PS4 owners in Japan, this package will cost any aspiring buyer 29 980 Yen (US$249) with tax. Besides the bundled goodies mentioned in Special Edition, buyers of the Premium Edition will get a 1:1 scale bionic arm model which is wearable but this Edition is available only at selected Konami Style stores at Japan.

Konami did not say if the Special Edition will ever be sold outside Japan or not. Anyway, check out the gameplay demos below :
