Netfilix series Daredevil which has been renewed for a second season confirmed one of the most badass character in the universe, The Punisher will make his appearance. An alumni of The Walking Dead , Jon Bernthal is officially going to don the white skull next year for the series.

According to some sources, he will have a “big presence” in Hell’s Kitchen this time. Previous showrunner Steve DeKnight had expressed an interest to include the vigilante in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speculations on his role for Season Two are varied but one interesting possibility is that he might be one of the main antagonists. According to Nerdist, showrunner Marco Ramirez said that their relationship can be summed up in one sentence: “DareDevil vs. the Punisher”. The same source cites the comic arc Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means and Ends as the possible inspiration. However, it is safe to take this with a helping of salt but it is an interesting angle.
So, now we know that Rosario Dawson will be continuing her role as Claire Temple, Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are taking over the showrunning business from Steve S.DeKnight and Drew Goddard remaining onboard as a consultant. From the rumour mills, some claimed that Elektra will show up in second season with Bullseye, Mister Fear and Mysterio as the potential players.
With The Punisher coming into the play, things are heating up in Season Two.
