Perhaps one of the best games ever to grace the Wii U, ZombiU might port itself over to PS4 and Xbox One based on the latest ratings submitted by Ubisoft.
Taiwan’s Game Software Regulations board rated Zombi – minus the U – for PS4 and Xbox One. The listing included artwork of the game and the new logo reflecting new name. Meanwhile, Australia’s Classification Board rated the game for Xbox One at the same time. This can’t be mere coincidence.
The game was released for Nintendo Wii U back in November 2012 and despite the good reviews it garnered, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemort lamented that it was not profitable enough. So far, there has been no official response from the game developers about this update yet.
Perhaps the game ports will come with a graphics update and effects to reflect the capability of latest generation of gaming console. But we can only hope and speculate as there is lack of news besides the two blurbs above.
