San Diego Comic-Con 2015 just saw the debut of Call of Duty: Black Ops III zombie mode. It is titled Shadows of Evil.
In this setting, players will assume four different roles in 1940’s film-noir setting. The Magician, The Female-Fatale, The Cop and The Boxer is having a personal battle with The Shadow Man. They will “experience masterminded by the mysterious Shadow Man” and tries to make sense out of it.
Confirmed voice actors are Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day), Heather Graham (The Hangover 1-3, Californication), Neil McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Band of Brothers), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1).
Treyarch studio boss Mark Lamia commented that this game’s zombie mode will be a “totally different setting” and features its own player progression mode back in April. He also commented, “Treyarch has crafted a totally unique and face-melting gameplay experience for our loyal Zombies community, with Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Zombies – Shadows of Evil. The development team has packed Shadows of Evil with more gameplay and fun than any other experience before it, and has an appropriately twisted and deep narrative, performed by fantastic acting talent, that will keep our fans spinning.”
The game which contains a cooperative campaign mode and some crucial key changes to the competitive multiplayer mode is set to battle on 6 November 2015 at PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The studio is working on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions which will have a different release date.
