Transport

There’s a handful of ways you can get yourself to Sunway Pyramid, assuming you’re not driving over or you simply don’t want to park there the whole there.

First is that you could take the LRT from the Subang Jaya station, which connects to most major LRT lines via KL Sentral. The other option would be to take the KTM to Setia Jaya station and then hop onto the BRT directly to Sunway Pyramid.

For those who are driving there directly, there’s a few options for where to park your car.

First off, do bear in mind that due to the event, the parking in Sunway Pyramid is likely to be killer, so if you’re parking in the main Pyramid carpark, it might be tight if you come around midday. Best head over in the morning!

If you couldn’t squeeze into the upper carpark or the basement parking; there’s also the option of the next door office building or Pyramid Tower Hotel, which have the same rates as mall itself.

As for parking rates, it starts at RM3 to a maximum of RM 15 on weekends and public holidays, which is not too bad.

If you’re not opposed to a bit of walking and waiting, you can even park at the nearby Sun U BRT station and then ride the BRT directly to the mall.

Food and necessities

Being a mall, Sunway Pyramid allows you access to a huge range of things to eat, from fast food to fancy Japanese food; there’s plenty to choose from. As an added bonus, the people in Sunway Pyramid are quite used to cosplayers so you shouldn’t get too many weird looks if you are out and about in your gear.

There are also pharmacies as well as places you can pick up emergency supplies like Daiso, Popular Bookstore and Ace Hardware should you have a costume malfunction.

Should other things interest you, there is a hawker center and more restaurants on the outside of the mall in the surrounding area if you’re looking for a cheaper bite.

At any rate, don’t forget to pack your emergency costume repair kit!
