That’s right folks, a brand new Naruto spinoff featuring his son, Boruto is set to make its appearance in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump this May.
This next generation of the Naruto franchise will run in the magazine once a month, starting with their 23rd issue for this year, starting 9 May.
On top of this Masashi Kishimoto will be publishing a one-shot for his original Naruto manga in this year’s combined 22/23rd issue come 25 April.
Ikemoto, who worked as an assistant under Kishimoto is working on the Boruto manga with Kishimoto supervising with Ukyo Kodachi handing the script.

The main Naruto manga ended in late 2014, after 15 years of serialization. After that Kishimoto wrote Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring one-volume sequel manga as well as script and character design, plus acted as chief production supervisor for the Boruto -Naruto the Movie- film sequel.
October last year Kishimoto attended the New York Comic Con and confirmed that he has plans for another manga, which is a science-fiction story.
We guess the Naruto train will be chugging on for quite a bit more.
