Getting into the Merdeka spirit, DiGi and RAKU, Astro Radio’s digital streaming service are teaming up to bring the country the best of our local indie and rock bands “live” for the nation’s 58th Independence day.
The negaRAKU@HardRockCafe tour will take place in four Hard Rock Cafe locations across the country, playing in Malacca (9 August), Penang (16 August), Kota Kinabalu (23 August) and Kuala Lumpur (6 September) respectively. The artists participating in the tour include Bil Musa, Pretty Ugly, Dragon Red, Tres Empre and Love Me Butch.
Digi is an avid supporter of local talent and content. It recently produced a musical collaboration of Elizabeth Tan’s Knock-Knock with today’s hottest local artists, such as Shawn Lee, Diandra Arjunaidi and Narmi, busking group Genji as well as established rockers Bunkface.
