This is not a joke, it is literally titled Bikini Warriors/ビキニ・ウォリアーズ.
Okay, this is as straight forward fan service as it can get. So far we only have the names of the artists behind the character designs – each character is designed by one artist and which season it will aired. The synopsis provided by the official site goes like this:
“Set in an RPG world with swords and magic, warriors must form a party to defeat the demon lord. But, these warriors are all wearing Bikini armor!!”
Now on to the characters:
Fighter by artist Hisasi, hentai mangaka and famous Pixiv celebrity artist:
Paladin by Onigiri-Kun (Alicesoft)
Mage by Saitom, another famous Pixiv celebrity artist and hentai mangaka
Dark Elf by legendary hentai mangaka Oda Non
Hunter by famous guns and babe genre mangaka Rei Hiroe (Black Lagoon)
Valkyrie by the immortal legendary hentai mangaka, Tony Taka
A sharp eyed and knowledgeable observer might able to spot the pattern here – all female character’s designer are renowned for their exquisite, beautiful designs. Especially names like Oda Non and Tony Taka, who are famous for their volumes of work in hentai manga/doujinshis circle. Even mainstream mangaka Rei Hiroe who is famous for his worship of strong, beautiful females with guns in Black Lagoon is here.
So far, no news on who will be cast as voice actresses or which animation production studio will be featured in this project. It does remind many people of another fan service show, Queen’s Blade so it won’t be surprising if the female characters are the salient reason as to why people will watch this.
