After releasing the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 flagship phablet, Huawei Malaysia isn’t resting up. They’ve added the heat by releasing their new Ascend G7 that’s big on features but light on your pockets.

This sub-RM1000 smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display, impressive 13MP rear-facing camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon performance and a large 3000mAh battery. It also packs 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage space (expandable to 32GB via microSD). And for your connectivity needs, it also includes a Cat4 4G LTE radio, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/gn networking.

It’s also quite pretty to look at. The G Series gets Huawei’s signature craftsmanship that you now see on the likes of the Ascend P7 and new Ascend Mate 7. It’s come at a slim figure of 7.6mm and weighs just 165g. Of course this budget phablet also runs Huawei’s EMUI 3.0 atop Android 4.4 KitKat.

With a classic moonlight silver design, the Huawei G7 is something that’s going to look really good in your hands. It’s now available at all Huawei authorised dealers with a retail price of RM999.
