LEGO Dimensions is the upcoming entertainment package that combines physical brick building with interactive console gameplay. Characters from The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby Doo are confirmed will be playable in this title. Not only that, these will converge with the previously announced DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago and Back to the Future worlds which will make it a massive adventure in thrilling trip of nostalgia with LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack.
In the trailer first revealed at E3 2015, we can see GlaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System), the main villain of the Portal series is testing the heroes of LEGO Dimensions which can only be solved using the LEGO Toy Pad. The game is developed by Traveller’s Tales and published under Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Players will recall that this game is quite similar to Skylanders and Disney Infinity series where players must have LEGO figures and a portal that can be accessed in the game itself.
The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Wii U. The game is set to launch on 27 September 2015.
